Vincent

Vincent started stuttering about 6 months ago. And not just a few words here or there, it is more like every 2nd or 3rd sentence. He will also have to repeat the word up to ten times before moving on in his sentence. He also have a few other little odd ball traits that we noticed so I confronted his pediatrician with the concerns. Over the last 3 weeks he has been evaluated 3 or 4 times and they say while his stuttering is a concern it is not bad enough to enroll him in a program but that he should be watched. On the other hand he has a grip of sensory issues and Occupation Therapy issues that the state will provide free therapy for him to help with those. They say we all have sensory issues, which I am not surprised, some just have more than others. He will be re-evaluated when he turns 3 and again every year until we either deny the issues or he improves on them.
Other than that he is very happy. JJ and him grow closer every day, thinking up new ways to get themselves into trouble. A weekend or so ago we went to an event called, Special Day for Special Kids. It was held at a beautiful train park here in Scottsdale. Vincent was invited by his Speech Therapist. What they did for the kids was absolutely amazing. Free food, drinks, petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, slides, carnival games, and train rides. The boys had a blast and there are some pictures form that.
Gianna is doing well also. She has been moving frequently and reassuring me that she is just fine. We have another realm of doctors appointments next week so they can check her growth and see how she is doing.

Gianna, Gianna, Gianna

I have figured out she really loves attention. Everytime things seem to be calming down with this pregnancy she does something. Yesterday Jason was home from work and we were working on paperwork for the business. It was cloudy all morning and the boys were being very good and just playing with each other while we got done what we needed to. It was such a peaceful morning we barely noticed the time go by and before we knew it, it was already 11. I had noticed hadn't felt Gianna move yet for the day but it was still only 11 so I did not think much of it. My mom was coming over and we were going to go run some errands with the boys so Jason could finish up with some phone calls. We went about and ran our errands and by the time we were done it was already 2 and I realized she still had not moved yet.
I called my doctor and they said I would need to go to the hospital. So Jason and I went to the hospital. She finally started moving while I was there. But at the same time my kidneys had started acting up again. The pain is ridiculous. So they did an ultrasound for my kidneys to see if they were still backing up. And of course they were. However they said because this is my third pregnancy that it is exepected to some degree to happen. So basically after 6 hours at the hospital and 8 hours of not being able to eat, they said baby is fine take some tylenol, put on your big girl panties and deal with it! Nobody ever claimed pregnancy was easy, but it is well worth it!
